Children's Choir Festival 2020
On Saturday, March 7, 2020, 65 children from around the diocese came together at St. Peter Church, E 17th and Superior to spend a day rehearsing with Teri Larson, from St. Mary's Basilica in Minneapolis, to prepare for the 4:30 Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. A good time was had by all.
Diocesan Musicians Retreat, February 22, 2020
All musicians of the diocese were invited to a retreat at the seminary in Wickliffe for a day of preparation for our upcoming lenten journey. 170 people were part of this event. Presenters were Gary Echt, a licensed counselor; and Fr. Peter Morris, Parochial Vicar, St. John Vianney, Mentor. A prayer service and recommitment ritual ended the day.

On March 16, 2019, Cleveland NPM sponsored a Children's Choir Festival at the Cathedral. Mark Doerries, from Notre Dame, South Bend, was the director/clinician.
