Position: Part-time Accompanist

Responsibilities: Part-time pianist will accompany 2-4 Masses each weekend as well as accompany the Adult/ Youth Choir and Children's Choir rehearsals, on Thursday evenings during the choir season.
There are also additional Holy Day Masses, weddings, funerals and special seasonal services.
Requisite Skills . Excellent piano skills and willing to accompany on organ as well
2. Excellent sight reading skills
3. Good improvisational skills
4. Preferably familiar with the Catholic liturgy, but not an absolute requirement
5. Comfortable with several different musical styles

Responsibilities: Develop, coordinate, and administer excellent, engaging music ministries to support our lower, middle/upper school programming. The ideal candidate must have a passion for our Catholic faith, liturgical music and working with the youth.
Candidate Qualifications: Quality singing voice, able to lead a choir rehearsal and direct a choir with excellence, competency with sound, lighting, and computer technology, understand and appreciate the full range of music styles, traditional, contemporary and must have several years’ experience in church worship/music ministry and leading worship.
Instruments: The Music Minister should be a skilled vocalist and guitarist or pianist. Proficiency in other instruments such as piano or percussion is helpful but not required.
