“Saint Cecilia Sing” is a nationwide event in honor of St. Cecilia, the patroness of music and musicians under the auspices of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM). We will all sang and listened to the sacred songs, choral music, readings and prayer. In addition to performance pieces, the songs and hymns presented during this evening were well known and easy to follow and we all were able to celebrate and sing them together. Readings and prayers gave us opportunity to reflect on the role of music in our faith and in our worship while liturgical dancers enhanced the visual performance.

 

After the performance refreshments were served allowing a time for fellowship.
